The period for defending doctoral theses and postdoctoral theses has been extended by one year. A draft decision in this regard was approved by the Cabinet in the context of the extensive reorganization that is carried out at the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research, IPN reports.
Minister of Education and Research Dan Perciun said that the deadline is extended for those who were admitted to study doctoral and postdoctoral programs before the entry into force of the new regulations, which stipulated a three-year term for the defense of theses.
“We have around 150 people who will benefit from the extension of this period,” stated Minister Perciun.
