Persons will be able to volunteer in the fields of civil protection and fire protection. Relevant changes to the law on volunteering were approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.
Minister of Home Affairs Adrian Efros said the bill was drafted to develop volunteering and to include civil protection and fire protection in the areas of public utility in which volunteers can be engaged.
The minister noted that the bill is designed to improve the productivity and efficiency of the provided public utility services and to motivate the citizens to volunteer in civil protection and fire protection.
