The Chisinau airport from December 25 will provide a special service for taking persons with locomotor disabilities onto and out of planes, IPN reports.

The airport’s PR manager Tatiana Popa said the Ambulift equipment was purchased by an aircraft ground handling company. Until now, the persons with disabilities were lifted onto planes with the assistance of other persons, who carried them in their arms.

The Ambulift service will be free of charge.
