The recipients of all types of pensions and state social welfare that are lower than 5,000 lei a month will get by 1,500 lei in assistance. The lump sum will be provided on October 1 to those who reside in the Republic of Moldova, as a bill to amend the state budget law that was given a final reading and adopted by Parliament provides, IPN reports.

The bill stipulates that the cold-month allowance of 700 lei a month will be maintained. A sum of 50.249 million lei will be allocated additionally to the 2022 state social insurance fund for providing this allowance to an estimated number of 245,000 beneficiaries.

Also, the vulnerable public sector employees with a salary lower than 15,000 lei will receive by 3,000 lei in assistance.

The salaries of public sector employees as from October 1 are raised by 5.5%. In the medical sector, the salaries will increase by 10%.

Under the adopted provisions, the entrepreneurs will benefit from a 200 million lei fund from which their interest rates on bank loans will be subsidized. The subsidization mechanism will be made public soon. Also, the budget for paying subsidies trough bills for 2022 is supplemented by 500 million lei (+137%). Capital investments are increased by 420 million lei (+15.2%). An additional sum of 682.6 million lei is allocated for capital road construction, while the fund for the rehabilitation of local roads is augmented by 95 million lei.
