A man aged 28 from Chisinau was arrested by the police on suspicion that he robbed an apartment. The owner informed that money and golden jewels to the value of about 260,000 lei were stolen from the apartment, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau Police Division, the police established that the man entered the apartment by matching keys. He was earlier convicted of mugging and served four years in jail. Now he faces seven to twelve years in prison for burglary.

The police urge asking relatives, acquaintances or neighbors to supervise the apartment while going away.
