Two men were arrested by the police on suspicion that they stole property to the value of over 300,000 lei from eight apartments situated in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the General Police Commissariat, the suspects aged 37 and 36 are from Chisinau. They rang the doorbell and, if nobody answered, entered the apartment by trying out different keys. Upon a search of the suspects’ homes, the police found stolen goods, including watches, perfumes, golden jewels, mobile phones, and photo and video equipment. The suspects face five to ten years in jail for theft. The two men had been earlier tried for theft and murder.
