The police confiscated 40 kg of marijuana and started a criminal case against two men suspected of selling drugs, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the men had been tracked for two months. The investigators established that the drugs made in the country were afterward transported to Russia, hidden in parcels. In Russia, they were distributed by the accomplices. The suspects aged 40 and 44 were arrested after an operation under cover. The specialists estimated the confiscated drugs at over 500,000 lei. The two men are investigated under arrest and face 7 to 20 years in jail.
