The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office is investigating an officer of the Botanica Police Commissariat for demanding US$1,900 from a man for closing a legal case, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the General Prosecutor's Office says the policeman was caught in the act of taking the money on July 28. He yielded the money voluntarily. When questioned by the prosecutors, the police officer admitted his guilt.
