A police officer from Hânceșt, who is suspected of abuse of office, was arrested for a period of 30 days. The Hânceșt Court accepted the prosecutor’s request in this regard, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the policeman, even if he was informed about the commission of a number of particularly serious and exceptionally serious crimes by a group of persons against several victims, including minors, didn’t take prompt action to accumulate information on this case.

A number of searches were carried out at the home, in the personal car and company car and at the office of the policeman on April 5. A mobile phone, an electronic device and documents were seized as a result.
