The postcard with fixed stamp “National Museum of Arts of Moldova, 70 Years of Foundation” was launched during festivities held at the museum on November 26. The idea of launching such a postcard was put forward by Moldova's Post Office, Info-Prim Neo reports. The museum's director general Tudor Zbarnea thanked the Post Office for its gesture, saying the postcard will remind the people about the existence of the National Museum of Arts, which works for the entire population. The postcard sent today with the stamp “first issuance day” becomes automatically a philatelic piece for those interested, especially philatelists, said Victoria Tanase, the head of the philatelic editorial service of IS Moldova's Post Office. The “first issuance day” stamp was stuck by Deputy Minister of Culture Gheorghe Postica and the museum's director general Tudor Zbarnea The postcard has a face value of 0.90 lei and represents the interior of National Museum of Arts. The postcard was issued in 3,000 copies and will be available in all the post offices of Moldova.
