Premier demands hastening implementation of volunteering law
Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed the minister of youth and sport to hasten the drafting of the normative framework stipulated in the volunteering law, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The law was adopted in March. It provides that all the decisions needed to implement the law must be approved within six months before its coming into force.
“Eight months passed, but the Government has not yet approved the normative framework, especially the decision concerning the minimum quality standards for services provided by teams of volunteers,” said Vlad Filat.
He ordered that the State Chancellery provide information about the process of drafting the normative documents.
Minister of Youth and Sport Ion Cebanu said the decisions stipulated in the volunteering law were sent to ministries for approval.
