Prime Minister Pavel Filip addressed a congratulatory message to the U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the declaration of Independence, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, in his message Pavel Filip expressed his conviction that the United Sates will continue to promote the democratic ideals and values that are embraced by Moldova as well.

“I’m confident that with the re-launch of the U.S. – Moldova Strategic Dialogue, the Moldovan people will continue to benefit from the American people’s assistance in dealing with the faced economic and social challenges and security challenges,” reads the message.

The Premier also said that he welcomes the firm support of the U.S. in the process of democratic transformations and economic reforms in the Republic of Moldova.
