Prime Minister Pavel Filip instructed Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Iurie Chirinciuc to show maximum responsibility in examining the problems accumulated at the state-run company “Moldova’s Railways”. The request was made following the scheduling of protests by employees of this company for March 11, IPN reports.
The Premier asked to present a plan of action for dealing with the problems experienced by “Moldova’s Railways” and its employees, who haven’t received their salaries for several months, within ten days.
Pavel Filip underlined the necessity of employing international financial instruments for reorganizing “Moldova’s Railways”. “I wait for a serious approach and for a plan of action to see how we will move on. Communicate with people from “Moldova’s Railways”. They should know that we have a reorganization plan and these problems can be solved in time,” he stated.
