Press House suffers 3.5 million lei damage
An employee of the Press House State Enterprise is suspected of having caused damages of 3.5 million lei to the company between 2008 and 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the webpage of the Ministry of the Interior, an investigation found that the employee had signed fictive contracts. She employed three persons in the same position. The accounting history shows that some persons allegedly worked as programmers and accountants, although they had no studies or knowledge in these fields.
Investigators are collecting evidence to start a prosecution for fraud, which is punished with a fine between 500 and 1000 penalty units or a sentence of 2 to 6 years and a 3-year ban from certain functions.
