The price of the bread made by the Falesti Bakery was decreased again to 3.75 lei only one day after it was raised by 0.25 lei. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the company's head Ion Ghenea said the decision to increase the price was annulled at the buyers' insistence. The bakery's administration hopes the Government will cover a part of the costs related to the rise in the price of flour and oil. Otherwise, the increase in the price of bread may not be avoided. The employees must be remunerated and the bakery cannot work at a loss, Ion Ghenea stated. Before the New Year's Eve, a number of district bread makers raised the price of bread by 0.25-0.30 lei.
