Prices of all medications will be included in National Catalogue by this weekend
The prices of a number of imported drugs decreased on January 1 following the inclusion of these medications in the National Catalogue of Producer Prices. By the end of this week, the prices of all the imported drugs that are sold in Moldova’s drugstores will be included in this catalogue, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.
In a working meeting at the Government, Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu said the prices of over 3,000 of the 4,300 drugs imported into Moldova have been written in the National Catalogue of Producer Prices by January 3.
There will be set up a hotline that the people would use to report cases when the prices of medications are increased illegally.
Premier designate Vlad Filat demanded presenting a detailed report on the new prices of drugs and price decreases by this weekend.
There are about 900 drugstores in Moldova.
