Private individuals can declare incomes by March 31
The deadline for declaring the incomes earned in 2011 for private individuals is March 31. The legislation obliges those who had a taxable income that exceeds the personal exemption of 8 100 lei for 2011 or earned more than 25,200 in salaries a year, except for persons who have only one job, to submit income statements, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under Article 83 of the Tax Code, the taxpayers who intend to change the permanent domicile from Moldova into another country in a given fiscal year must also declare their incomes.
Alexandru Ghitsman, senior specialist at the Assistance and Contact Center of IS Fiscservinform, said any taxpayer can submit the income statement (CETO8) at the local tax office or through the agency of the electronic reporting service.
A private individual who wants to use the E-Statement service must register on the portal www.servicii.fisc.md and then go to 162 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd., second floor, office 220 to obtain the fiscal authentication signature and sign the connection contract. The authentication signature is given gratis and is valid for five years, said Alexandru Ghitsman.
The income statement form for private individuals can be downloaded from the State Tax Service’s official website www.fisc.md. In this case, the income tax calculations will be done automatically. The printed form must be taken to the local tax inspectorate.
The documents needed to fill out the form are: the identity card, the identification papers of the maintained persons, information about the incomes calculated and paid by the employer, confirmative documents when the taxpayer earned money from the sale of a house, a car and other property.
