Prosecutor general appoints his deputies

Prosecutor general Valeriu Zubko named Andrei Pantea as deputy prosecutor general, while Eugen Rusu – as deputy prosecutor at the suggestion of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. Andrei Pantea, 39, has worked in the prosecution bodies since 1996. Initially, he worked at the Prosecutor's Office of Botanica district and then at the Prosecutor's Office of the municipality of Chisinau. Since 2007, he had been prosecutor of Anenii Noi district. Eugen Rusu is 58 and has a length of service of 40 years. In 1994 – 2001, he had been a member of the Parliament of Moldova. He was chairman of the parliamentary commission for appointments and immunities. He also acted as head of the minors and human rights' protection division and then head of the analyses and forecasts division of the Prosecutor General's Office. The personnel structure of the Prosecutor General's Office will be finalized by end-March. Afterward, the process will be extended to the local subdivisions.
