Prosecutor's Office asks population to help identify persons who caused explosion
The Prosecutor General's Office calls upon the persons who had been near the Triumphal Arch in the Great National Assembly Square on Wednesday evening and have video images or pictures of the explosion of the RG-42 grenade to submit them to the prosecuting authority. Anyone with any information is asked to call on 22-31-35, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office.
Unidentified persons caused an explosion on October 14 at about 22.00. More than 40 persons were injured in the explosion and were taken to the hospital. Prosecutor General's Office instituted legal proceedings over acts of terrorism.
Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko presumes there is a close connection between the explosion and the phone calls threatening Prime Minister Vlad Filat made to his antechamber between 21.30 and 22.30 on the same day.
