The association Falun Dafa Moldova Tuesday picketed the Embassy of China in Chisinau, in connection with the 11 years of repression of the Falun Dafa supporters in China. “We want the truth, kindness and tolerance to triumph. Regretfully, lives are lost in this process and we cannot remain indifferent to this,” the head of Falun Dafa Moldova Tatiana Chiriac said, quoted by Info Prim Neo. The supporters of Falun Dafa all over the world stage today protests against the persecution of the movement’s adherents in front of the Consulates and Embassies of China. Falun Dafa Moldova launched a campaign to inform the people about the events that have taken place in China during 11 years. Signatures are collected in favor of stopping the maltreatment of the followers of Falun Dafa in China. According to Tatiana Chiriac, there are about 50 Falun Dafa supporters in Chisinau. Falun Dafa or Falun Gong is a system of beliefs and practices founded in China by Li Hongzhi in 1992. The practice emerged at the end of China's "qigong boom", a period of growth and popularity of similar practices. Falun Gong differs from other qigong schools in its absence of daily rituals of worship, its greater emphasis on morality, and the theological nature of its teachings. It is practiced in 80 countries, including Moldova.
