Poet, prose writer, essayist and editor Emilian Galaicu-Paun read his “Milarepa Air Lines” for the first time on October 13 as part of the “Public Readings. Prose 9” project at the Bookshop No. 9 in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The project was launched by the publishing house Cartier. The first invitee was writer Constantin Cheianu, who read fragments from his books “Sex & Perestroika” and “Everything About Me!” last week.
The message of “Milarepa Air Lines” cannot be found in any other book written by Emilian Galaicu-Paun. The author tries to make a connection between reality and fiction, using Tibetan Buddhist theories.
According to Emilian Galaicu-Paun, writer and playwright Aureliu Busuioc and journalist and playwright Val Butnaru, as novelist, will be invited at the next public readings that could become a tradition. Val Butnaru will read from a novel on which he is now working and that is to be published soon.
