The use of pyrotechnic articles is banned in settlements at night, between 10pm and 7am, except for the fireworks on national or international holidays. A bill to this effect was passed by Parliament in the final reading, IPN reports.

The sale of pyrotechnic items in markets and through ambulatory retail outlets and to persons younger than 18 was also banned.

The pyrothecnists will be authorized after they complete qualification courses. Once in two years they will take a psychological test.
