Holy relics have been brought to the Hancu Monastery from Moldova, the protecting saint of which is Holy Parascheva – Moldavia's Defender. On Sunday, April 12, they brought a part of the Crown of Thorns of the Savior, a part of a nail he was crucified with, a wooden part of the Holy Cross and a part from the relics of Saint George.
The relics were brought from Italy to Odesa, Ukraine, from where they were brought to Moldova, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the press service of the monastery.
The clerics and visitors of the Hancu Monastery had the opportunity to meet parts of the relics of Saints Nicholas and George and the Icon of Saint Mary Magdalene within which there is a part of her relics.
Everyone willing can visit the relics till May 3.
