The tents for rehabilitation during dog days put up by rescuers are taken down. The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service said the tents are now not needed given the decline in temperatures, IPN reports.

More than 44,000 people used the services of rehabilitation points since these were set up. There, they could drink water and protect themselves from the sun and could also be examined by paramedics on guard.

Fourteen such tents were pitched in Balti, Cahul Comrat, Causeni, Ungheni, Nisporeni, Calarasi, Orhei and Chisinau.
