A minor aged 14 from Chisinau fell off the trailer of a MTZ tractor in Sturzovca village, Glodeni, where he is spending the summer vacation. The boy was taken to the hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma, broken ribs and contusions, Tudor Capatana, PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo. Two female pedestrians were injured when they were struck by a car that went out of control and crashed into another car at an intersection in Chisinau. A 21-year-old woman suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, while the second aged 23 received a forearm fracture. A ZIL truck driven by a 20-year-old man hit a motorcycle in Vulcanesti. Consequently, the motorcyclist aged 28 suffered different injuries and was hospitalized. A Nissan-Sanny driven by a 22-year-old man skidded at a curb and overturned. The driver and the 19-year-old passenger suffered multiple injuries and were taken to the hospital. Twelve persons were injured in nine road accidents last weekend. The traffic police fined 58 drivers for traveling unbuckled and 113 speeding drivers.
