Roma people will be relieved of issuance taxes for civil status paperwork, for three months. A bill on this matter, proposed by the Ministry of Justice, was approved by the Government on July 4, reports Info-Prim Neo. Deputy Minister of Justice Vladimir Grosu stated that the implementation of this order will aim at increasing the number of Roma people with IDs. An annual growth of 5% in the rate of registered people is expected. The expenses for enforcing this decision will be covered by funds from the State Budget and special funds account of the Civil Status Service.
