The Romanian Government has donated a batch of medical equipment to the Comrat District Hospital, containing, among other things, protective equipment against the novel coronavirus.
During the handover ceremony in Comrat, Romania’s Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ioniță stated: “We are glad that the Comrat Hospital is the recipient of this donation. As we all know, it is among the seven district hospitals that have been distinguished by the Moldovan authorities as hospitals that truly care for Covid patients.”
The ambassador went on to add that the program was approved earlier this year and it included two batches: one of vital signs monitors, and another one of consumables.
“I am extremely pleased to be the representative of the Romanian Government at this extremely important event, when we present this donation that was made with the support of Romania,” added the Romanian ambassador.
