Romanian Broadcasting Society and Teleradio-Moldova develop cooperation
The cooperation between the Romanian Broadcasting Society and the National Public Broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova will be strengthened under a two-year agreement that was signed in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The agreement is complex, but contains traditional elements,” the president of Teleradio-Moldova Constantin Marin said in a news conference on June 7. “The agreement envisions the organization of fact-finding visits and experience exchange for 25 Moldovan journalists and 25 Romanian journalists,” he stated.
“We are waiting for the first ten journalists,”said the director general of the Romanian Broadcasting Society Maria Toghina. “It is a dream that came true. Moldova is a natural and successful partner for Romania,” she said after the signing of the document. “The balance, equidistance and reformation are the desiderata towards which we all head.”
“The useful dialogue we had before signing the agreement made us focus on a number of problems. I'm sure that this agreement will produce results,” Constantin Marin said.
Radio Romania has over 6 million listeners in Romania and over 10 million listeners abroad, according to the BBC. “We want to share the positive experience with the journalists from Moldova as we know that there are many talented journalists here,” Maria Toghina stressed.
The first agreement between the Romanian Broadcasting Society and Teleradio-Moldova was signed in Bucharest in 2006.
