The Federal Agency for Education of Russia provides 62 university scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year to Moldovans, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Education Ministry, 50 scholarships will be offered to students of the first cycle, two scholarships to students of the second cycle (the master’s degree), and ten scholarships for post-university studies. The contest will take place at the State University of Moldova. The documents can be submitted between April 24 and May 11. The contest will have two stages, while the final results will be announced on May 22. The selected persons will benefit from gratis studies and paid accommodation in hostel. When arriving in Russia, they will have to purchase health insurance policy that costs minimum US$250 a year. Furthermore, the Government of Russia allocated financial resources for enrolling foreign citizens directly to higher education institutions.
