Russian Culture Days marked in Moldova
Artistic and cultural activities, roundtable meetings and exhibitions will be staged in Chisinau, Tiraspol, Balti, and Comrat as part of the Russian Culture Days in Moldova. In a communiqué, the Russian Embassy in Chisinau announces that the Russian Culture Days will take place between September 20 and 26, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the communiqué, the public in Chisinau, Tiraspol, Balti, and Comrat will be entertained by artists of the State Academic Ensemble in the name of L.Gh. Zykina “Rossia”, the Folk Dances Ensemble of Northern Ossetia “Alan” and the State Symphony Orchestra of Russian in the name of E. Svetlanov.
A roundtable meeting centering upon the cultural dialogue between the two countries will involve personalities of the Moldovan and Russian culture.
During September 20-26, the National Museum of History and Archeology will house the exhibition “Russia-Moldova: from Cantemir to Gagarin”, which will focus on the main aspects of the bilateral relations between the two states.
The Chisinau Movie Theater “Patria” will host the Russian Film Week within which the residents and guests of Chisinau will be able to watch their favorite movies.
The Russian Embassy in Chisinau will also organize meetings of the public and personalities of the Russian culture. Artists of the Moscow Theater “Na Maloi Bronnoi” will perform on the stage of the Chisinau Theater “A.P. Cehov”.
Entrance to the concerts and films forming part of the Russian Culture Days in Chisinau will be free.
