The employees of the National Anticorruption Center will be stimulated financially in order to increase the efficiency in the prevention and combating of corruption. Such a decision was approved by the Government, IPN reports.

In addition to the salary, the officers will receive a bonus equal to one and a half official average monthly salary for the previous year. The bonus for sub-officers will be 0.8 of the official average monthly pay for the previous year.

“The rise in salaries entails increased responsibility. We hope that this will contribute to maintaining professionals with integrity at the National Anticorruption Center and to diminishing the functionaries’ vulnerability to corruption risks,” said the Center’s director Viorel Chetraru.
