The National Army combat engineers in April neutralized about 500 explosive devices discovered in the districts of Causeni, Falesti, Dubasari, Ungheni, Criuleni, Leova, and Sangerei, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Defense, 473 cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber, two F-1 grenades and a bomb of 82 mm caliber were found during gasification works in Plop-Stiubei village of Causeni district.

The National Army sappers so far this year demined over 1,000 explosive devices in different parts of the country.
