Students at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) and the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) are invited to apply for the Orange Scholarships until November 10. The $1,000-worth scholarships will be awarded to the two best students at the UTM's departments of Computers, Informatics & Microelectronics (DCIM) and Radio Electronics & Telecommunications (DRT), and to the two best students at all ASEM's faculties. The competition is organized by the Educational Advising Center (EAC) and sponsored by Orange Moldova Orange Moldova general director Liudmila Climoc said the scholarship contest was initially planned only for the UTM students. “This year we thought it would be great to extend the program to offer the opportunity of winning a scholarship to as many students as possible. So starting from 2010 ASEM students are also eligible for the Orange Scholarships program”.
