Eight of the best athletes will receive scholarships in the amount of 12,000 lei from the Association for the Support of Community Initiatives and Sports. The scholarships will be offered based on a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education and Research, IPN reports.

There will also be offered 300 sets of sports equipment to national teams, as well as nutritional supplements. Also, physiotherapists of the Sports Center for Training National Teams will receive bonuses to the salary to assist athletes of national squads outside their working time, it is said in a press release.

Under the partnership agreement, repair works will be carried out at the Chess and Checkers Club and at the Republican Sports High School.
