Bus drivers at hub schools will get higher salaries, as decided today by the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. In particular, the Government decided that the salaries of such drivers will be multiplied by a coefficient of 1.4 as compared with the salaries of drivers on regular routes. Further, school bus drivers will get a 50% bonus to their salaries. The increased salaries will range from 1,700 to 2,700 lei, depending on category, length of service and other criteria. Minister of Labor and Social Protection Valentina Buliga said these raises are intended as incentives for drivers to do their job responsibly, keeping in mind that they carry children.
