The Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) has announced a contest to choose a judge on the Constitutional Court following the resignation tendered by ex-president and judge Victor Pantiru. Applications can be submitted within 15 days of the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette, IPN reports.
A decision to this effect was taken by the SCM in its February 6 sitting. The interested persons will file the following document: application to take part in the contest; copy of the identity card, the Curriculum Vitae in electronic form on aparatul@csm.md, copy of the diploma of bachelor of law or its equivalent and copy of the certified employment record book.
Among other required documents are a health certificate, records of punishment, income and property statement, reference from the last job and a color photo 4x5 cm. The copies of the specified documents can be authenticated at a notary or will be presented together with the original documents for proving their authenticity.
