The biathlonists of Moldova entered the competitions of the World Biathlon Cup. The inaugural stage took place at the Swedish resort Oestersund, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the men's 20 km individual race, Serghei Balan finished 114th, while Victor Panzaru – 116th among 134 participants. The Moldovan athletes did well at rifle shooting, but were slower in skiing. Natalia Levcenkov showed the best result among the Moldovan athletes so far. She ranked 11th in the 15 km individual race. Alexandra Camenshchik finished 107th. On Saturday, December 5, the Moldovan biathlonists will compete in sprint.
