Sergey Pușcuța vacated the post of director of the State Tax Service. The information was confirmed for IPN by the Service’s spokesman Adrian Platon.

Sergey Pușcuța leaves out of his own free will. His resignation was signed by the minister of finance. Pușcuța will yet fulfill his duties as director of the State Tax Service until October 31.

Sergey Pușcuța headed the State Main Tax Inspectorate in 2005 – 2008 and in 2016 – March 2017 and then the State Tax Service in 2017-2019. Later, he held the post of minister of finance. In 2021, he returned to the post of director of the State Tax Service.
