The Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities selected a representative of civil society to serve as a member of the Integrity Council during five years. This is Sergiu Ostaf, director of the Resource Center for Human Rights (CReDO), IPN reports.

The other candidate chosen for the contest Mircea Tanasov didn’t present himself at the interview.

Sergiu Ostaf is to be confirmed to post by Parliament.
