Sheriff score 2-2 draw with Rubin
Sheriff Tiraspol tied the first friendly played while training in Turkey. On January 21, Moldova’s champion drew with Russia’s Rubin Kazan 2-2, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Sheriff were in the lead after Serbia’s Marko Stanojevic scored two goals, but Rubin managed to tie during the last 10 minutes. In the second half of the game, the Russian team included Moldovan footballers Mihai Platica and Radu Ginsari, the latter being on trial.
The next friendly in Turkey will be played on January 25 against the leader of the Bulgarian championship Ludogorets.
Rapid Ghidighici are also training in Antalya. They will play against Vostok Kazakhstan on January 22. Several other National Division clubs will travel to Turley until the end of this month, as well as Veris team, which lead in Moldova’s second league.
