Sheriff have won Moldova's Cup for the seventh time. As last year, in the final the Tiraspol team beat Dacia 2-0, Info-Prim Neo reports. Both of the goals were scored by the Brazilian striker Jimmy Franca, by one in each half. A parachute show was staged before the match. The parachutists, who included politician Oazu Nantoi, brought Moldova's Cup and the flags of Moldova, the Moldovan Football Federation, FC Dacia and FC Sheriff on the field. Sheriff has won Moldova's Cup the third year in a row, while Dacia Chisinau failed the third time to take possession of the first internal trophy. Despite the defeat, the Chisinau team ostentatiously celebrated 10 years of the foundation of FC Dacia at a nightclub. In summer, Sheriff will take part in the second Champions League qualifiers, while Dacia will represent Moldova in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
