At the border with Romania, all the crossing checkpoints are working normally, and at the border with Ukraine, the border crossings at Cismichioi – Dolinskoe and Vulcanesti – Vinogradovka remain temporarily closed, IPN reports.

Border Police spokesperson Daniela Minzatu says on January 1 and 2 the numbers of persons and vehicles crossing the border both into and out of the country have decreased due to complicated weather conditions.

The Border Police recorded 11,400 persons and 2,200 vehicles crossing the border.
