Six people drowned over the last 24 hours. The tragedies happened in the districts Straseni, Soroca, Stefan Voda, Edinet, Causeni and Chisinau. Among the victims was a 10 year old boy from Zubresti village, Straseni district, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the Ministry of the Interior. The boy went swimming with several other kids. As no adults watched him, he swam to deep water and couldn’t return. The other five deceased were aged between 22 and 52 years. The Civil Protection and Emergences Service warns people to be careful when they swim, to avoid diving in unknown waters and those who aren’t good swimmers to avoid deep waters.
