The Embassy of Slovakia in Moldova has announced the opening of the contest of university scholarships for 2014-2015. Applications can be submitted between March 24 and May 29, 2014, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Embassy, the students can apply for scholarships at the second level of higher education for the 1 - 2 terms and 1-3 terms. Those who study for their doctorate can carry out research activities in Slovakia for a period of 1 month to 12 months. The university lecturers can receive scholarships for research and development activities for a similar period.

On May 30, the Embassy of Slovakia in Chisinau, together with representatives of the Ministry of Education, will select the applicants.
