Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for difficult weather conditions all over the country for December 12, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the State Hydrometeorology Service. The southern cyclone that will cross the country will bring precipitation, mainly in the form of snow, in most parts of Moldova. The temporary wind will intensify to 15-20 m/s. There will be snowstorms and glazed frost in parts. One more yellow code warning was issued in connection with the formation of the layer of ice on rivers, ponds and lakes, following the very low average temperatures between December 11 and 17. The ice will be thin and walking on it will be dangerous. Parents who have underage children are urged to keep them permanently under supervision.
