The eggs must be kept in the fridge. The eggs laid nine days ago are considered extra fresh. After the ninth day until the 27th, they are considered fresh. The soft boiled eggs are better tolerated by the human body. They are digested in 1-2 hours. Such details were made public by the Romanian Association for Consumers Protection before Easter, given the important place the eggs take on the feast table, IPN reports.
The eggs must be preserved at temperatures under 5 degrees Celsius, not on the fridge door, where the temperature is higher.
One egg provides the body with an average of 80 kcal, 6.6 g of proteins, 5.9 g of lipids, 0.07 g of sodium, 100 mg of phosphor, 70 mg of potassium, 30 mg of calcium, 1.4 mg of iron, 6 mg of magnesium, 80 mg of chlorine, 30 mg of sulfur, and 0.27 g of cholesterol. The eggs also contain the complex of vitamins B, lecithin, iodine, copper, manganese and zinc. The cholesterol is found in the yolk.
The eggs laid by hens bred within the ecological system are the tastiest and most nourishing. Those laid by hens bred in modernized poultry farms are the least nutritious.
