The dwellers who rent areas inside preschool and pre-university education institutions and who stopped work during the state of emergency will be exempted from paying rent for the period between March 15 and August 15. A decision to this effect was taken by the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) on June 18, IPN reports.

The councilors also allowed rescheduling the payment of rent for the period between March 17 and May 15 for dwellers who rent spaces from the CMC and who stopped work during the state of emergency.

The exemption will be possible based on an additional agreement to the lease drawn up based on an application and the confirmation provided by the building manager.

The period of exemption can vary depending on the lifting of restrictions and will be indicated in the confirmatory document issued by the building manager.
