Acting President Mihai Ghimpu conferred state awards on two directors and four actors of the Balti-based State National Theater “Vasile Alecsandri”, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the presidential press service, the theater’s director general Anatol Racila was awarded the Order of Honor for prodigious work, contribution to promoting the national cultural values and artistic skillfulness. The honorific title of People’s Artist was conferred on actors Constantin Stavrat and Eufrosina Volontir. The theater’s artistic director Dumitru Griciuc received the honorific title of Master of Art, while actors Anatolie Burlacu and Gheorghe Crudu – the title of Artist Emeritus.
