State Chancellery will have new responsibilities
The State Chancellery, the public authority that organizes the work of the Government, will have more responsibilities than the executive body's apparatus, which was liquidated when the new governmental team was installed, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under the regulations approved by the executive, the State Chancellery will be a strategic public policy planning and coordination center that will work in accordance with the government program and development strategies. It will prepare analytical materials and will draft documents.
Minister of State Victor Bodiu said that two new offices will be created as part of the State Chancellery. They will be in charge of the achievement of the strategic objectives concerning the territorial, political, economic and social reintegration of the country and its European integration. A new subdivision will be responsible for the promotion and implementation of administrative decentralization policies, while another unit will coordinate the cooperation relations between the Government and the local public authorities.
The regulations envision that the subdivisions responsible for the monitoring of the work of the authorities from the real sector of the economy will be restored.
The State Chancellery will have 169 employees and will be headed by the State Minister, who is a member of the Government, and two Deputy State Ministers.
