Students will be able to vote where they study
The persons studying at an education institution located in a settlement where they do not have a residence visa will be able to vote where study after presenting the identity card or the student's card, in accordance with a circular approved by the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Friday. The circular will be sent to all the district electoral councils, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The students will be able to vote at any polling place established in the settlement where they study after they write a statement on own responsibility.
In the same meeting, the CEC ordered printing special envelopes with ballots for persons with visual impairments. Such a voting procedure will be possible only at polling place No. 151 established in the Chisinau-based Radio House. The persons who do not live near this polling place, but want to vote there, can ask for a voting certificate from the polling place where they are written in lists.
